About the role
VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley (VCA VSV) is seeking a Locum Emergency Veterinarian to join their team in Woodland Hills, California. As an ER doctor, you will work alongside eight board-certified specialists in critical care, internal medicine, oncology, and surgery. You will have primary case responsibility, communicate with referring clinics, and coordinate consultations and transfers to specialty services.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in California
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care preferred
