Locum Emergency Veterinarian

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tacoma is seeking an experienced and adaptable Locum Emergency Veterinarian to support our dedicated Emergency Veterinarians during high-volume shifts, including weekends. Monthly set days are available for those seeking a predictable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care during busiest caseload shifts, including weekends
• Support the hospital’s dedicated Emergency Veterinarians as needed

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree
• At least three years of Emergency experience
• Valid state veterinary license
• Willingness to work high-volume shifts, including weekends

Pay

• Day/Swing Shift: $2,000 per shift (average)
• Overnight Shift: $2,500 per shift
