About the Role
Seeking locum Anesthesiologists for ongoing coverage near Boston, VA. The facility has 4 anesthesia rooms and uses the Epic charting system.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for general, orthopedic, and urology cases
- Work independently without CRNA supervision
- Handle day shifts, with preferred on-call coverage during weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Manage cases efficiently
- Participate in light beeper call duties
- Cover scheduled weeks in summer with specific dates
Note: No ICU or emergency cases; minimal emergency case exposure and light on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Board-certified in Anesthesia
- Willing to obtain VA license if needed
- Experience with general, orthopedic, and urology cases preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts
- Perform own cases independently
