Seeking a qualified MD anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in an inpatient and surgical setting. The role involves supervising CRNAs under a 1 MD to 4 CRNA staffing model, with 100% hands-on involvement in anesthesia care delivery. The position requires board certification and entails providing anesthesia during day shifts with negotiable call duties, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system. The work environment includes a variety of patient ages and case types in an on-site facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervising CRNAs while maintaining direct involvement in anesthesia care
- Providing anesthesia for inpatient surgical cases
- Documenting clinical procedures in EPIC
- Supporting staffing models and ensuring quality standards
Requirements
- Board certification in anesthesiology
- Experience in inpatient and surgical anesthesia
- Strong communication and supervision skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
