Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

This position is for a licensed, board-certified Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia services in a hospital setting. The role involves working during day shifts in an operating room with a diverse surgical case mix, including orthopedic, general, gastrointestinal, ENT, urology, and obstetric procedures. Call coverage is required on a 1:5 rotation.

The clinician will work under a supervision and medical direction staffing model with approximately 75% hands-on involvement. The work environment supports quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a diverse range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, general, gastrointestinal, ENT, urology, and obstetric cases
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating ability to work independently
• Manage variable case loads and patient populations of all ages

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Strong clinical skills across various surgical procedures
• Flexibility to adapt to changing case loads and patient needs
