- Develop Isolation Components and Positions needed to support surface and underground work control documents in the planning stage.
- Aid in the administrative completion of all LO/TO review sheets (EA10WC3011-34-0) needed for work control documents.
- Provide additional support for Surface and Underground Facility Operations with Panel Audits, Redlines and Circuit Verification as needed.
- Work with Fire Protection Engineering and Fire Department on Fire watch, system impairment issues and drawing as-builts.
Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
- Previous WIPP Project experience a plus.
- Three (3) years of nuclear experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Site Fire Alarm Detection and Fire Water Systems is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of fire science, building codes and fire safety.
- Ability to analyze complex fire protection strategies need to support the Site.
- Provide technical support craft and vendor on Site Fire system operations.
Bachelor’s degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with eighteen (18) years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalency with twenty-two (22) years of relevant experience is required.
