Lockbox Associate

Job Schedule and RequirementsWork hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PT, subject to change based on business demands. Parking is not provided. Interviews will be conducted onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate within Lockbox Operations or handle manual remittance processing tasks.Extract payments from envelopes and match them with invoice details for scanning.Prepare payment data for scanning and manage payment processing.Process physical mail related to payments.Ensure accurate batching and timely completion of all assigned tasks, including handling envelopes, checks, invoices, and correspondence.Conduct quality reviews to verify the clarity of printed images and reports.Re-associate, package, and mail processed remittances in accordance with client specifications.Operate automated capture equipment and mail sorters with minimal supervision.Key in data from invoices, check images, or credit card vouchers with 99% accuracy.Balance accounts using application-based technologies and validate payees.Perform data corrections on misread items and monitor system production to ensure timely processing.Skills and QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in banking, payment, or accounts receivable processing.Proficiency in reading, understanding, and following written and verbal instructions.Adherence to client-specific deadlines, schedules, and departmental quality standards.Basic computer skills and efficient use of online systems.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Capability to concentrate on specific tasks, work independently, and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.Experience in scanning and data entry is preferred.Education and ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in banking, payment, or accounts receivable processing.Minimum 1 year of experience with MS Office, including Excel and Word.
