Associate Mechanical Assembler

About the role

Working under general supervision, performs a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of explosive products, small mechanical or electro‑mechanical parts, equipment housings, and large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers/cowlings, and related connecting lines. The assembly process may include fitting, mounting, alignment, adjusting, and operational testing.

Responsibilities

• Fit, mount, align, and adjust components for various mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Perform operational testing of assembled equipment.
• Inspect materials and identify quality issues.
• Follow established manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related assembly experience.
• Mechanically inclined with comfort working hands‑on.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to manufacturing processes.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with assembly, production, or manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Quality inspection skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and follow manufacturing processes.

Tools & Equipment

• Air presses.
• Drills.
• Other basic manufacturing/assembly tools as required.

Work Arrangement

On‑site position located at 8432 South Interstate 35W, Alvarado, TX 76009. Interview conducted in person.
