About the role
The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a vehicle maintenance facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, staffing, and quality control
- Train and manage a team of hourly employees
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and other departments
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Manage inventory and maintain equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college education preferred
- 2-5 years of supervisory or management experience
- Previous vehicle inspection experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
Qualifications
- Ability to learn and understand emissions control devices
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to stoop, bend, and reach
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions
