About the role

The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a vehicle maintenance facility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, staffing, and quality control
  • Train and manage a team of hourly employees
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other departments
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Manage inventory and maintain equipment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college education preferred
  • 2-5 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Previous vehicle inspection experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and understand emissions control devices
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to stoop, bend, and reach
  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions
