About the role
J.B. Hunt is hiring local CDL-A last mile drivers to join their team. This role offers stability and consistency as part of one of the country's premier last mile delivery providers.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles within the designated routes
- Deliver packages to customers' locations
- Ensure all deliveries are made safely and on time
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 12 months of trucking experience
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Good physical condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Pass a pre-employment physical exam
Skills
- Knowledge of local traffic patterns and road conditions
- Ability to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
