Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

A local event producer and promoter is needed to manage events in various locations including Ft. Lauderdale, Gainesville, Sarasota, West Palm Beach, Baton Rouge, and Charlottesville, VA. This position is freelance and commission-based.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events in collaboration with clients
• Manage logistics such as venue selection, catering, and entertainment
• Coordinate with vendors and attendees to ensure smooth event operations
• Market and promote events through social media and other channels
• Prepare budgets and financial reports for each event
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in event production
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in event planning software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field (not required but preferred)
