The Local Event Producer & Promoter position is a freelance, commission-only role available in Evanston, IL, Rockford IL, Springfield, IL, Akron OH, Dayton OH, Columbus, OH, and Fort Wayne IN. This role offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute event plans to attract and engage local audiences
• Manage logistics including venue coordination, vendor selection, and budgeting
• Collaborate with artists and performers to ensure successful event execution
• Market events through social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback to improve future event offerings

Requirements

• Proven track record in event planning and management
• Experience with event marketing and promotion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event production and promotion
