Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

The Local Event Producer & Promoter position is available on a freelance basis, with commissions earned from successful events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event planning and promotion, with experience in managing logistics, marketing, and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute event plans that align with client goals and budgets
• Manage all aspects of event logistics including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for each event
• Market events through social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels
• Ensure all legal and safety requirements are met for each event
• Handle post-event analysis and provide feedback to clients for future improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in event production and promotion
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
