Local Event Producer & Promoter (freelance, commission only)

About the role

A local event producer and promoter is needed to manage events in El Paso TX, Ogden UT, Tucson AZ, Tulsa OK, Corpus Christi, TX, Albuquerque NM, and Little Rock AR. This position is freelance and operates on a commission basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events in various locations
• Manage logistics including venue coordination, audio/visual setup, and technical support
• Work closely with artists and performers to ensure smooth event operations
• Handle marketing and promotion efforts for events
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in event production and management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local venues and event spaces

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or a related field (optional)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event production
