Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping orders paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs
- Continuously build knowledge of Linde’s business operations to support organizational growth
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, plus a valid Class A or B CDL
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Current hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions in the last ten years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
