Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, making an average of 10‑12 stops per day while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous‑material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Linde’s operations to help the organization grow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck‑driving school.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL (or must obtain within 60 days of hire).
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol‑related convictions within the last ten years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Pay

Pay Range: $28.50 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
