Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About the role
You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. You will build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs. You will continuously build your knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow.
Responsibilities
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping orders in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- Hazmat endorsement on your CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
