Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $39-43 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week duration at 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts at night.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory therapies.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Train and educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Kansas.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
