About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week duration at 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts at night.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory treatments.
- Assess patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
