American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Clinton, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, and peak flow monitoring.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Maryland.
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The shift is 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week, with a start date of August 24, 2026.
