American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, and peak flow monitoring.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Assess patient conditions and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
