About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026, in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Train patients and their families on proper techniques and equipment usage.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to respiratory therapy.
Skills
- Proficient in using respiratory therapy equipment.
- Skilled in patient assessment and intervention.
- Knowledgeable in respiratory disease management.
