Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $41-45 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week, 36-hour per week position starting ASAP, working 12-hour shifts at night in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician
• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop treatment plans
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screening
• Pass a physical examination
