A Radiation Therapist is needed to work at a local hospital in Modesto, CA. The position is a local contract role starting on October 12, 2026, lasting 13 weeks with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver radiation treatments under the supervision of a medical physicist and physician.
• Position patients appropriately for treatment using immobilization devices.
• Operate and monitor linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• Current license as a Radiation Therapist in California.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited program in radiation therapy.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
