Local Contract Radiation Therapist - $65-69 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments under the supervision of a physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Iowa.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing score on the national certification exam.

Skills

• Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
