About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in San Luis Obispo, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy treatments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Monitor and record patient progress during treatment sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in California.
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
