Local Contract Physical Therapist - $52-56 per hour

About the Role
Pride Health is hiring a Physical Therapist for a temporary assignment at a medical facility. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work with a top-tier healthcare organization in the Boston area and surrounding communities, including West End, South Boston, Jamaica Plain, Back Bay, Roxbury, Beacon Hill, and the South End. The contract may be extended based on performance and need.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and physical therapy needs in the home setting.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and pain management.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to physicians and nursing staff.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, mobility techniques, and disease management.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks (possibility of extension)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Shift: 8 hours, days
Pay
Pay range: $52–$56 per hour, based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
