About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Rockport, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Manage equipment and supplies in the operating room
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in OR setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Passing scores on relevant CPR and ACLS certifications
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent OR experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
