About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Operating Room setting
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Manage post-operative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and techniques
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours, days, with a start date of November 16, 2026, and a duration of 26 weeks.
