About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Assist with surgical procedures as directed by the surgeon and anesthesia team.
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery.
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience in OR preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a physical examination.

Pay
