About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the operating room setting
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Current CPR certification

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours, days, with a start date of August 16, 2026, and a duration of 26 weeks.
