Local Contract OR RN - $38-45 per hour

About the role

A hospital in Eastern Wisconsin is in need of an OR RN to work a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working 8 hour shifts. ACLS and BCLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs
• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries
• Administer medications and fluids as needed
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• ACLS and BCLS certifications
• Experience in an OR setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
