About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Lewiston, Idaho.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterility and safety protocols are followed
- Communicate effectively with other members of the surgical team
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery
- Manage emergency situations as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in OR setting preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN
