Local Contract Operating Room RN - $29-34 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, Kentucky. This position offers 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates during the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preoperative preparation and postoperative care
• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Manage patient flow and ensure smooth operation of the OR
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in OR setting preferred
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current CPR certification
