Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Beckley, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD.
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
• Prepare operating rooms for procedures.
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in West Virginia.
• Experience in the Operating Room preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a drug screen.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of sterile technique.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
