Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Danville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD.
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
• Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience in an OR setting preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Pass a physical exam.
