Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), managing immediate postoperative recovery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, EKG, and central monitor readings, and review strips accordingly.
- Assist with advanced airway equipment such as vents, Cpap, and BiPAP, including initial setup and rounds.
- Collaborate with ICU team members when ICU patients are recovered in PACU or held overnight.
- Support team leads, with no charge nurse assignments, focusing on patient care and assisting staff as needed.
- Follow established protocol for weekend and holiday call coverage, responding within 60 minutes.
- Adhere to dress code with provided scrubs and maintain unit-specific protocols.
- Participate in orientation process, modified as a travel RN.
Pay
- Pay Range: 54.29 - 57.00
