About the role
The role is for a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Assist with patient recovery and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and provide other necessary medical care as directed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia.
- Experience in PACU preferred.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems used for patient care documentation.
