About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Pass background check and drug screening.
