About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Assist with patient transfers and coordinate with other healthcare providers.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in PACU preferred.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties required.
