About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Lewiston, Idaho.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist and Surgeon.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures, set up equipment, and ensure sterile technique.
- Administer medications and fluids as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Idaho.
- Experience in the Operating Room setting preferred.
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.

- Proficiency in operating room equipment.

Pay
The pay package is based on 11 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
