About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in West Nyack, New York.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Communicate effectively with other members of the surgical team
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and anesthesia management
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Passing scores on relevant drug tests
- Passing scores on a background check
