About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Independence, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Operating Room setting
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of an RN or higher
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Monitor patients during and after surgery
- Administer medications as ordered
- Document patient care activities accurately
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri
- Experience in Operating Room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR certification
