About the role

The Lobby Services Associate ensures guest satisfaction by assisting with guest needs and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. This role may also oversee or delegate responsibilities within the guest services operation, including patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign daily work assignments of the guest services team and oversee completion of tasks
• Train and guide guest service staff on job duties, customer service, systems, and procedures
• Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
• Perform service recovery for patients/customers who have received unsatisfactory service
• Book reservations and coordinate registration
• Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions
• Answer phone calls and emails and deliver messages as needed
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
• Reconcile disputed guest charges
• Participate in Quality Assurance Programs and reviews to address areas in need of improvement
• Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments

Requirements

• Supervisory experience in a related role preferred
• Previous guest services experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrates organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• May have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.50 per hour, plus shift and weekend pay (if applicable).

Schedule

Mid-Shift and Rotating Shift. All candidates must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
