About the role

The Lobby Services Associate ensures guest satisfaction by assisting with guest needs and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. This role may also oversee or delegate responsibilities within the guest services operation, including patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign daily work tasks for the guest services team and oversee completion
• Train and guide guest service staff on job duties, customer service, systems, and procedures
• Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
• Perform service recovery for patients/customers who received unsatisfactory service
• Book reservations and coordinate registration
• Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions
• Answer phone calls and emails, and deliver messages as needed
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
• Reconcile disputed guest charges
• Participate in Quality Assurance Programs and reviews to address areas needing improvement
• Adapt to changing job duties or new assignments as needed to meet commitments

Requirements

• Supervisory experience in a related role preferred
• Previous guest services experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
• May require wearing uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.50 per hour, plus shift and weekend pay where applicable.

Schedule

Full-time, 1st shift. Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
