Lobby F&B Server - The Saint Paul Hotel

This position performs lobby beverage serving activities with primary responsibilities to include greeting guests; making suggestions regarding food and beverages; taking and delivering orders; mixing alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks; serving food and/or beverages; checking regularly for guests’ needs; answering any questions or concerns; setting, breaking down, and cleaning of all service areas; and collecting payment for all items served. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Greets guests; takes guests’ orders, serves food and/or beverages; thoroughly knowledgeable on the menu and beverages while maintaining company service standards.Ensures orders entered correctly in POS system.Continually refreshes tables through crumbing and refolding napkins, as well as replacing soiled flatware. Clears dirty wares from tables, replaces soiled table linens and sets tables. Transports dirty dishes/glassware, etc. and places items into proper cleaning receptacles.Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties. Performs all duties on position checklist including all cleaning duties.Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages when legal age is questionable (under the age of 30). Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety.Completes any and all other duties as assigned.
