Responsibilities
- Enter newly received mortgage loan files into the organization’s loan origination platform and confirm records are set up correctly from the start.
- Prepare borrower disclosure packages and distribute them within required timelines to support compliant loan processing.
- Cookordinate requests for title work, property valuations, and flood certification reports through internal systems and approved vendors.
- Collect, upload, index, and organize borrower documents so files remain complete and easy to review throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Provide operational assistance for funding activities by updating information and supporting documentation in the designated system.
- Review loan records regularly to ensure documentation is accurate, current, and properly maintained.
- Partner with Loan Officers and related team members to resolve file issues, answer process questions, and keep applications progressing efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry is required.
- Background in loan origination, file setup, or mortgage processing is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with MortgageBot or similar loan origination technology is preferred.
- Familiarity with mortgage funding support systems is considered an advantage.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail when handling loan data and documentation are essential.
- Solid computer and data entry skills are required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of loan administration, mortgage processing, mortgage banking, closing support, or underwriting workflows is highly valued.
