Loan Processor - Senior

Role Overview Responsible for processing and pre-underwriting conventional, FHA, VA, and Bond mortgage loans to ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and company standards. Acts as a liaison between loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, and funding teams to facilitate smooth loan approval and closing. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze loan documentation, including credit reports, appraisals, tax returns, and verification of income/assets.Identify potential issues, recommend solutions, and re-structure loans as needed to meet guidelines.Order third-party reports, verify data accuracy, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor standards.Monitor processing cycle to meet closing timelines, communicate issues, and prepare files for underwriting and closing.Provide guidance to less experienced processors and maintain professional correspondence with stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; college or technical training preferred.At least five years of mortgage processing experience, including conventional, FHA, VA, and Bond loans.Expert knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry systems, and third-party software.Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment, and work independently.
