Senior Loan Processor

About the Role

Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) is the captive finance company for one of the world's leading automakers and mobility providers with iconic brands including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep®, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, Vauxhall, Free2move, and Leasys. This role supports our core mission of enhancing customer experience by verifying and processing retail and small business auto loan contract packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations and policies before funding.

Responsibilities

• Review Retail Installment Contracts and supporting documents to ensure conformity with Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) policies and accurate submission.
• Ensure contracts submitted for funding are complete, accurate, and reflect proper approval authorities, including Truth-In-Lending and fee disclosures, with correct calculation and disclosure of federal-mandated fees.
• Inspect loan package documentation for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
• Perform overrides and approvals beyond standard user scope using advanced system access, leveraging extensive experience and proven decision-making capabilities.
• Support OCR/AI technology for document verification and automated funding.
• Perform financial calculations such as income, payoffs, rebates, cancellation quotes, and verification of employment, vehicle registration, driver’s license, residence, phone, and insurance coverage.
• Conduct customer interviews to validate information in loan documents.
• Follow up with Dealership, Dealer Relationship Manager, Sales Team, and other internal partners to resolve non-compliant funding issues and documentation deficiencies via Dealer Chat, email, and outbound calls.
• Inform Credit, Fraud Prevention, or Loan Processing Management teams of discrepancies in contract packages or verification of information and notate the file.
• Operate within multi-system environments using dual/multi-monitor configurations for enhanced efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality when accessing consumers' personal information, including Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in auto finance as a Loan Processor or similar position.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Overtime required on an as-needed basis.
• Travel 0-10% as required on an as-needed basis.
• Authorization to work in the United States; Stellantis Financial Services will not sponsor work visas for this position.

Work Environment

• Hybrid role requiring in-office presence based on business needs or company requirements.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evening hours, holidays, and weekends.
