Senior Loan Processor

About the role

Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) is a captive finance company for one of the world's leading automakers. We are seeking a Senior Auto Loan Processor/Funding Specialist to join our dynamic team in Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify retail and small business auto loan contract packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with SFS policies.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of loan package documentation, including Truth-In-Lending and fee disclosures.
• Closely inspect loan package documentation for suspicious or fraudulent elements.
• Support loan processing managers with pipeline management, handling complex loan files, and responding to escalated calls.
• Conduct financial calculations, customer interviews, and follow-up with dealerships and internal partners to resolve non-compliant funding issues.
• Operate within multi-system environments, leveraging dual/multi-monitor configurations for efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of consumer information and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum 2 years' experience in auto finance as a Loan Processor or a similar position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills.
• Excellent verbal, reasoning, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple files effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

• Overtime required – as needed.
• Travel 0-10% – as required.
• Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
